First of all, we chose Italy because the bureaucracy for foreigners is simple. We consider Sicily to be a very romantic place and when I found Mari’s wedding planner website, I knew immediately that Cefalù was the perfect destination for our wedding. Cefalù has everything we love, there is beautiful scenery, historic buildings, the vibe of a pretty fishing village and it also has many wonderful accommodation options and bars and restaurants to make the whole wedding week an enjoyable destination for us and our whole family.

We chose Castello Bordonaro because we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding (which was possible under the beautiful Sicilian sun). Castello Bordonaro is such a special place. We chose it because we love the rustic style of the building. The courtyard is the perfect place for an intimate ceremony, and it really was like a fairytale that day.
